Yellow Farmhouse

Driving through the countryside of Denmark one afternoon. I saw a flash of yellow from across the field.

"Stop...Stop the car!" I exclaimed to my dear friend Henrik who was giving me a tour of the Danish Countryside on his home island of Funen. Henrik was mystified and couldn't understand what on earth I was going after. As I ran down the country road and into a very wet field.

My favorite images are those that have interesting stories or memorable experiences in order to capture them. This burst of color against the deep blue sky instantly caught my eye. I love the fluffy clouds floating across the sky. It was completely worth the mud soaked shoes. I will never forget carefully trekking across the field so I wouldn't damage what was planted.
